Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Keiji Hirose (the "Operator") handles information in the iOS app "FieldCue" (the "App"). The App requires no account or login, and does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.
1. Information We Handle
| Information | Details | Purpose | Shared with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photo Library access | Accessed through standard iOS APIs so you can choose a photo to edit, and so the edited photo can be saved to your Camera Roll | Import and save photos | Stays on your device, never sent to the Operator's servers |
| Text you write in a note | Sent to Google Search only if you tap the 🔍 button on that note | Let you search a part or model number you just wrote, without retyping it | Google (only if you tap 🔍) |
| IP address and similar connection data | Generated automatically only when the search above is performed | Display the search results | Google (only if you tap 🔍) |
We do not collect your location (GPS), contacts, name, email address, or an advertising identifier. The App displays no ads.
2. Third Parties
- Google Search — Only when you tap the 🔍 button on a note, the text you wrote is used to run a Google search inside the App's in-app browser. No such request happens unless you tap it. Privacy Policy
- Apple (App Store payments) — The App is a one-time paid download; Apple processes the purchase directly. There are no in-app purchases, and the Operator does not receive your payment details.
We do not sell the information we handle to any other third party.
3. Data Storage and Location
All photo processing (straightening, cropping, text notes, and dimension lines) happens on your device. Photos are never sent to or stored on the Operator's servers.
4. Your Rights and Data Deletion
- Since the App has no account, there is no server-side profile to delete. Uninstalling the App removes all on-device information.
- You can change Photo Library access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
- For questions or requests, contact support@lifebot.jp.
5. Age and Children
FieldCue is a general-audience app with no user-generated content and no chat or messaging features. It is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect information from, children under 13.
6. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may update this Policy as needed. Updated terms take effect once posted on this page.
