Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Keiji Hirose (the "Operator") handles information in the iOS app "Neko Nade" (the "App"). The App requires no account or login, and does not collect information that directly identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number.

In this App, the cat you draw and its hometown are made public and shared with other users worldwide through a shared pool. Please do not draw anything that identifies you personally or infringes others' rights.

We do not collect location (GPS), contacts, photo library, name, email, or similar personal information.

2. Public Sharing of Your Drawing

As a core feature of the App, the cat you draw (line-art PNG) and your chosen hometown are sent to a shared pool on the Operator's server and displayed to other users. This is public content. Please do not draw or submit anything you would not want others to see, or any imagery that infringes others' rights.

3. Third Parties

We do not sell or provide the collected information to any other third party.

4. Data Storage and Location

Shared-pool data is stored in a database on a VPS (ConoHa) located in Japan. API keys for the black cat feature are managed only on the server and are not included in the App or repository.

5. Your Rights and Data Deletion

6. Age and Children

Because the App displays user-generated content (UGC), its App Store age rating is expected to be 18+ (adults). It is not a service intended primarily for children under 13.

7. Reporting and Moderation

Inappropriate drawings can be reported by swiping the cat up (tossing it), which immediately hides it from all users. The Operator reviews reports and removes rule-breaking content and cuts off the posting device within 24 hours. See the Terms of Use for details.

8. Changes to This Policy

The Operator may update this Policy as needed. Updated terms take effect once posted on this page.
