The Idea

A ritual you already do every night.

Charging your phone is something you already do, almost without thinking, every single night. Count Fill turns that habit into a bedtime ritual. Instead of counting imaginary sheep, you count something real — the percentage left until your phone is fully charged — while a soothing ambient soundtrack plays underneath. A calm voice counts it down for you: sixty-three, sixty-two, sixty-one. Just as your phone is filling up, you're quietly filling up too.

When it reaches zero, the voice says so, once. In the morning, when you wake up and tap the screen, you'll hear a short "good morning."

Screen

Lay it flat, and it's a quiet clock too.

Leave it plugged in and lying flat on your nightstand, and Count Fill doubles as a quiet clock — just a big number and an analog clock face, nothing else. It's designed in tones that won't startle you if you wake up in the middle of the night.

For When You Wake Up

You don't need to set a wake-up time.

Turn on Optimized Battery Charging, and your iPhone already remembers when you usually wake up — finishing the charge right before then. Count Fill's "zero" rides along with it.

It can be off in the first few days, or on nights your schedule is unusual.

BGM

Music that shifts through the night.

Right after you plug in, a soothing ambient track plays. As you settle into deep sleep it grows quieter, and just before you wake it shifts into a morning-appropriate track. With Wi-Fi, the tracks rotate day to day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Count Fill work without Optimized Battery Charging?
Yes. The countdown still runs the whole way from your starting percentage to 100 — it just won't be timed to your wake-up time.
Why doesn't the number match the battery percentage in the status bar?
iOS only reports battery level in 5% steps. Count Fill estimates the numbers in between, so it can briefly disagree with the status bar. It corrects itself each time a real reading comes in.
Does it keep counting if I lock my phone?
Yes. Count Fill keeps the screen awake and keeps playing quietly in the background while you sleep.
How do I remove the ad?
Open the menu (☰) inside the app and choose "Remove ads" — it's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Count Fill is iPhone only for now.
